Rock paper scissors is a game that
has a linear game structure type. There are 2 events that you must do, and you
either lose or win. There is no room for creativity or wandering other than
which gesture you choose. The events are the chant and the revealing of the
gestures and there is no other possible path that can be taken to traverse to
the end of the game.
Rock paper scissors should only be
a two player game. The best reason for this is because if there is a need to
have more players the game can be played in a tournament style of 1 on 1
matches to determine a winner. In a game where 3 players play simultaneously,
it is possible to result in a three way tie or other confusing outcomes. What
happens when two players choose the same gesture? The addition of more players
into a single game adds too much overhead to the game and takes away from the
clear cut nature of rock paper scissors
